Amsterdam’s party scene is a diverse one, so there will definitely be something that suits your taste. It doesn’t matter whether you like chilled vibes or if your life motto is “go hard or go home”: Amsterdam has it. We’ve come up with a party guide to help you out because it can be hard figuring out what to do when the night falls while you’re on foreign turf. Of course, partying in the Flying Pig hostel bar is always a good idea, but if you want to explore more of the Amsterdam party scene, we’ve listed what to do and where to go. Here are 4 things party lovers can't miss out on in Amsterdam…

Pub crawl

Of course, it’s fun to explore Amsterdam by night by yourself, but you might feel lost with all that is available. A fun way to get introduced to what the Amsterdam pub scene has to offer, is by going on an organised pub crawl. On this website you can find free pub crawls that you can walk without a guide. Each crawl clearly describes the pubs, the addresses, walking distances, closing times and the total time. There’s even a map that shows the route and you can even view the map offline by sending it to your email. The cool thing about this concept is that you can choose which pub crawl you want to do and there are a lot available! Whether you want to celebrate the Irish way, play board games while enjoying a drink or have a romantic pub getaway: they have it all!

Cocktail bars

A good glass of wine or a cold pint of beer will make most people happy, but a nice refreshing cocktail? Even better! Amsterdam has several good cocktail bars that serve art in a glass. Tales & Spirits is ranked #35 on the World’s Best Bars list. Here you can get really nice and unique variety of cocktails. The finger food is also amazing! Another really nice cocktail bar is Njoy, where they serve good quality cocktails. Their menu is huge and the music is great! If you want to have a glass of heavenly cocktail goodness while enjoying an amazing view, you have to go to Skylounge in The Hilton Amsterdam. In the evening they have live DJ’s playing banging tunes.

Music festivals

Amsterdam’s nightlife scene is cool, but the music festivals are even better. The city is known for its epic festival season that starts in April and ends in September. So if you’re looking for taking your trip to Amsterdam to the next level, consider going to one of the amazing music festivals! Diynamic Festival is held on Saturday June 1st at the Amsterdamse Bos, where you’ll be enjoying good music and chilled vibes in the open air.
