The Flying Pig Beach Hostel staff sit down for dinner at 7pm each night, and a limited number of hostel backpackers are welcome to ‘pay in’ - so get to reception early; demand a special seat at the surf bar, and prepare your belly for the lashings of delicious home cooked food that will soon be coming your way! 

The Flying Pig Beach Hostel menu varies each and every day as a different member of staff masters the role of chief chef and takes full responsibility for recreating some of the world’s finest cuisine. 

Our home cooked meals suit hostel backpackers from all over the world: Thai Green Curry, Irish Stew, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Sweet Chilli Chicken, Homemade Cheese Burgers, Chilli Con Carne, Vegetable Stir Fry, Tomato and Mozzarella Pasta Bake, Shepard’s Pie, and Noordwijk surprise!  The home cooked meals served at The Flying Pig Beach Hostel offer tremendous value, and are packed with meat, vegetables, and lots of flavour. 

If you are a vegetarian you need not agonise while in Noordwijk; a handful of the Flying Pig Beach Hostel staff are herbivores too - so we always prepare a vegetarian alternative to every home cooked meal. 

Guests have until 4 pm each day to ‘pay in’ at the Beach Hostel reception.  Details of the day’s home cooked meal can be found on the dinner board which is located adjacent to the Flying Pig surf bar.  If you are a hostel backpacker with specific dietary requirements then feel free to quiz any of the piggies for further information on the evening’s culinary masterpiece!
