Our Flying Pig Uptown Hostel is located right in the middle of Amsterdam, next to the Leidseplein, a square famous for its high variety in clubs and pubs that offer a choice from Jazz to Hip-hop to House. Our youth hostel is located in a typical old-Amsterdam mansion, overlooking the Vondelpark. The Flying Pig Uptown Hostel is known for its great mix between a relaxed, funky atmosphere and the real Amsterdam party vibes.

If you are in for some culture, the van Gogh museum, the Stedelijk museum and the Rembrandt museum are just around the corner of the Flying Pig Uptown Hostel. You can stroll around the many markets (such as the Albert Cuijp in the Pijp area) and have a beer at the Amsterdam Heineken Museum (before you start partying in the hostel bar again).Or borrow free hostel skates and share a ‘smoke’, a drink (get the ‘Vondelpark picnic special’ from the Uptown hostel bar) and a blanket with your (new made) friends on the green grass of the most famous park of Amsterdam, the Vondelpark!Laugh your head off at one of the comedy clubs on the Leidseplein or visit the famous Red Light District and the Jordaan which are easily reached from the youth hostel.
