The Flying Pig Noordwijk is an excellent alternative for backpackers who want to see more of the Netherlands than just Amsterdam.

Being centrally located between the major Netherlands cities of Rotterdam, Den Haag (The Hague), Leiden, Haarlem and Amsterdam, makes it an ideal base to explore the Netherlands’ most interesting cities.

Being on the Beach

The Flying Pig Noordwijk is situated in the centre of the popular Beach town Noordwijk, the Youth hostel is only 50mtr from the beach with its 13km of pristine shoreline. On the beach of Noordwijk you can enjoy all beach and water sports you can imagine, most popular in Noordwijk are Kitesurfing and boardsurfing and of course we have good connections with the best surf schools in town to organise your surf lessons, or to rent your surf gear.

Coming back to the backpacker hostel after your adventures, you are invited to join the dinner, regularly home cooked by the Flying Pig Youth Hostel staff. Keen for a big night? The youth hostel bar is open all night and we play a wide variety of music. And there is much more to do in the backpacker hostel. You can show us your music skills during the Flying Pig Beach Hostel’s ‘Pig and Play’. You might want to organize your own (theme) party together with some of the staff; this is possible too! Our Flying Pig Beach parties are known to last way into the early hours and they offer you a great chance to meet your fellow backpackers!
