Situated in a unique area of Holland, Noordwijk has a lot to offer no matter how active you are. Noordwijk is one of the hottest "kite surfing" places in Europe, but our beaches are suitable for all other kinds of surfing as well: windsurfing, board surfing, skim boarding and boogie boarding. You can surf from March until October but because of the storms, spring and fall are the best seasons.
The Beach Hostel organizes all kinds of (beach) activities such as, beach volleyball, beach soccer, power kiting and once in a while an illegal Beach Party. The first ‘’Flying pig beach surf challenge’’ will take place in September ‘ 07.
There is a huge skate park in Katwijk a place next to Noordwijk where lots of our locals skate and like to learn some new foreign tricks! In Noordwijk there is a ‘’no locals only mentality’’. The line up is not so crowded and everybody is open for a nice chat in the water or on the skate ramp. 
When you’re not into extreme sports Noordwijk offers you wild dunes, woodlands, and flower fields that surround Noordwijk. You just have to put on a couple of inline skates or jump on a mountain bike and start to explore an unspoiled piece of Holland!
Remote golden sand beaches are inviting you to go for a beach ride, there is the possibility to rent a horse at one of the many stables. When there is enough interest the Beach Hostel organizes all kinds of other activities like indoor snowboarding, wake boarding and cycling. So bring your flip flops and your hiking shoes because for the Noordwijk experience you’ ll need both!
