De JordaanOur feature bar of this month is the coolest bar of Amsterdam…literally.

In the Xtracold Icebar, located at the Amstel 194-196, everything is made of ice, from the furniture to the glasses, while the bar is kept at a chilly temperature of -7 degrees.

Visitors are given special clothing to make their stay a less-than freezing one, and the interior is given an extra touch through the creations of ice-artists.

Open between 11.00 and 01.00, the ice-bar is sure to give you goosebumps…literally.
