In this eZine:Top 13 Things to do in Amsterdam
I'm not the biggest fan of subjective rankings. They are absolutely meaningless hierarchies. They imply too much difference in worth, all based on someone's personal preferences. Too many questions need to be asked.
Did the judge get a good night's sleep before making their decision? Was everything ok in their relationship at the time? Had they burned their tongue on coffee? When was the last time they cuddled a puppy?
I'm not saying that some things aren't better than others. For instance, take "anything", and compare it with "anything" plus Stroopwafel.
Anything plus Stroopwafel is obviously better. A nice meal, plus Stroopwafel. Sex, plus Stroopwafel. A cold-blooded betrayal … plus Stroopwafel. I think it's safe to label that as scientific fact.

In this eZine:The Summer of Love – Part 2
I want to begin a campaign to rename the summer of 1968 - the Summer of Love, Part 1. It seems unfair that one particular group of people who happened to be alive then, get to claim that time as THE Summer of Love. I was not consulted on this and cannot endorse the moniker. I will not stand for their monopoly on Love.

In this eZine:Marijuana or Mushrooms?
For many visiting Amsterdam the word marijuana, or one of its thousand slang terms, appears somewhere on their itinerary. For now at least, it's completely legal for consumption inside one of the many coffee shops around town. I feel fairly confident that if you're reading this, there's little to no chance that the effects of this plant are a mystery to you. Nonetheless, your time with 'Mary Jane' will certainly vary - depending on what you buy and how you choose to ingest it. In general however - you're probably in for a happy time.
ezine 45 - April/MayFlagging: Sexual Conquests on a Global Scale
People like to collect things. Most of the time it involves something mundane with a great amount of arbitrary value assigned to it. You know - things like cards, coins and stamps … I almost fell asleep typing that. Telling someone you collect stamps is one of the best verbal sedatives in existence, right behind tax law and the history of the lima bean. It's therefore highly entertaining to hear of new and different things that people like to collect - things you'd never expect - especially if they sound erotic. I recently learned of one such hobby gaining popularity in the backpacking world. It's called Flagging.

In this eZine:The truth about the weed pass, it's about time!
The city, the train station, even just saying the name itself carries with it a certain high. A visit to Amsterdam is its own kind of drug, one that millions of people are dosing themselves with annually. And what a rush it is. Tripping on "AmDa" (a street nickname for the city that I made up for the purposes of this article) will hit you hard, leaving you breathless and wanting more. It's euphoric.
However, like any good drug, there's a media smear campaign against it. A conservative idea has surfaced that's trying to sully the image of the beautifully sinful city we all know and love. Sure, maybe the purchase of a ticket to Amsterdam should come with a disclaimer, but it should be something along the lines of...
