Group bookings

All Flying Pig hostels welcome groups to come and stay! However, we are a youth hostel that offers budget accommodation for individual backpackers mainly. Thus we have set up some criteria for groups.

All group bookings (over 10) are on a request basis by email to groups@flyingpig.nl.

We can not accept group booking for the Friday and/or Saturday night only. If you would like to stay at The Pig with your group during the weekend, the minimum stay is three nigths.
 
Groups, as well as all our other guests, can use all hostel facilities. Breakfast is always included but we don't have any facilities to serve lunch or dinner at the hostel. We have a guest kitchen (which may be too small to cook up a big meal for a group) and there are lots of affordable lunch rooms and restaurants nearby.

Our hostels are in perfect locations to go and explore the city on foot. Our receptionists can give you info on things to do and we sell discounted tickets for bike rental, museums etc so you can skip the long waiting lines!
 
The Flying Pig Hostels are popular with young travellers. We need to honour a minimum age of 18, also for groups, because all our guests are allowed to smoke pot and drink spirits in our hostel bar.

To send your request, we ask for some basic information so we can make you a group offer that best suits your wishes.

• How many males and females are in the group? (& can they share dorms?)
• The age range of the group members
• The purpose of visiting Amsterdam
• The arrival date, number of nights and room preference
• Which hostel you prefer to stay (Uptown or Downtown)
and any other information that could be relevant for your reservation...
